The Arizona Auditor General (Office) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to conduct performance audits for each of the following auditees: Baboquivari Unified School District, Benson Unified School District, Globe Unified School District, Sanders Unified School District, Stanfield Elementary School District, and Heber-Overgaard Unified School District. The performance audits must be completed and a report of its work, including findings and recommendations, must be submitted to the Office no later than December 15, 2023.

The selected firms will be required to conduct performance audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.

The Firms must have no conflict of interest with regard to any other work performed for the State of Arizona or auditees. The Firms must also provide information on other areas that may result in independence issues, such as participation on a board or having a direct or indirect financial interest. The Firms must submit this information using the Independence Disclosure Form. A firm must bid on each auditee individually and may bid for 1 or more of the auditees. Each auditee will be awarded separately.

The Office will hold a preproposal conference scheduled for May 5, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. (Pacific Time), to provide information about the audits and to answer any questions. The conference will be held at the Auditor General’s Office in Phoenix, at 2910 North 44^th Street, 4^th floor boardroom.
