Department of Public Safety—Highway Patrol (September 2001, Report No. 01-20)

The Highway Patrol Division needs to refine and update the information and model it uses to estimate the number of officers needed to adequately patrol Arizona’s highways. DPS also needs to develop more comprehensive motor vehicle fleet size and replacement policies.
