Department of Economic Security—Division of Child Support Enforcement (November 2007, Report No. 07-10)

The Division of Child Support Enforcement generally has good processes in place to help ensure its child support enforcement functions are performed appropriately. However, the Division should make improvements to its processes, such as developing mechanisms to track and report court order processing and payment-posting errors, implementing an effective oversight process for payee changes, and better explaining collection methods to noncustodial parents.
