Our investigation revealed that from
April 2000 to September 2000, certain district officials violated laws, rules,
and regulations for three construction projects awarded to one vendor that
totaled over $2.8 million. In addition, the superintendent personally
contracted with the same vendor to receive construction services on his home
and received personal benefits through their agreement. A copy of this
report has been forwarded to the Attorney General for review.
