Description
IT auditors primarily perform reviews of computer systems in the areas of general controls, application controls, and system security. IT Auditors also work cooperatively with the Office’s Financial, Performance, and School Audit divisions by acting as consultants and by assisting in the completion of audit assignments which involve IT systems. In addition, IT auditors assist in the performance of IT audits of State Agencies, Counties, Community Colleges, and Universities under the supervision of an experienced IT audit supervisor, based on an approved IT audit schedule.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, computer information systems, or computer science from an accredited institution, or a master’s degree in any field and 1 year of related experience in audit

At least 1 year of direct experience performing IT audits
